Rooted Reach for nonprofits
We build the systems
that connect ambition
to execution.
Your organization has a plan for making a bigger difference. Rooted Reach helps put it into practice—with messaging people understand, donor relationships you can build on, and processes your team can sustain.
Let’s Talk
Where We Help
The plan is clear.
The work still needs a way forward.
The board has agreed on a direction, but the next steps land on people whose weeks are already full. A promising donor conversation ends without a clear follow-up. A funder asks what their support made possible, and your team has to piece the answer together from spreadsheets, emails, and program updates.
Rooted Reach works through those gaps with you. We connect what you want to accomplish with what people need to hear, what happens next, who owns it, and how you’ll know it’s working.
01Give people a reason to act
Your mission matters. A prospective donor also needs to understand why their support matters now and what it can make possible. We turn your priorities and program outcomes into a clear case for support, with messaging that speaks to individuals, foundations, and community partners.

02Build beyond the first gift
A meaningful conversation should have somewhere to go. We help you build a consistent approach to individual giving—from first interest and personal follow-up to the thank-you, the impact update, and the next invitation to get involved. Your team can see the relationship and pick up where it left off.

03Make the work manageable
When a new opportunity comes along, you need to know what your organization can take on. We connect your CRM, everyday workflows, and reporting so responsibilities are clear, information is easier to find, and leadership can see progress without asking the team to rebuild the story each time.

From funding strategy to fundraising infrastructure
Build what your next stage will require.
Whether you’re developing individual giving, preparing for a funding conversation, or putting a strategic plan into motion, we start with what needs to happen. Then we build the communications and processes around it, at a pace your team can manage.
01 · Assess
We look at your priorities, audiences, and current ways of working. Where does follow-up stall? What lives in one person’s head? Which questions are difficult to answer with the information you have?
02 · Architect
We map the changes that will help most: the message, the sequence of communications, the people responsible, and the information needed to make decisions. You get a practical order of work.
03 · Activate
We develop the messaging, set up workflows, and put the plan into use. We test what happens from first contact through follow-up and make sure your team knows how to keep it moving.
04 · Operate
We review what people respond to, where work gets stuck, and what the results tell us. Then we adjust the process and reporting so they continue to serve your organization.

Ashley Young
Founder & Principal Growth Strategist
I’m interested in what happens after an organization sets a goal. What does someone need to understand before they support it? Who follows up after the meeting? Can the team see what happened without chasing five people for an update?
My work brings together marketing strategy, audience engagement, CRM systems, and operations. Nonprofit board service also informs how I think about the connection between an organization’s priorities and the time and resources available to carry them out.
You work directly with me to sort through what’s happening, decide where to focus, and put the changes into practice. The goal is work your team can keep using—in the next donor conversation, the next board meeting, and the everyday decisions in between.
