Where We Help
The problem you see isn't always the problem to solve.
A practice asks for more patients, but its clinicians are already stretched. Referrals are coming in, but no one has a clear picture of how many turn into appointments. A new service has plenty of interest, while intake and scheduling are still being worked through. These can look like marketing problems until you see how the business works.
Before recommending another campaign, platform, or hire, we look at demand, staffing, and the handoffs between teams. Sometimes the right answer is marketing. Sometimes it is fixing what happens after someone responds.

At every stage, growth starts with what you can deliver.
Launching or expanding care
You're planning a new practice, location, service, or care model and want to know what needs to be ready before you invest.
Running an established practice
You're balancing patient demand, staffing, referral relationships, intake, and the daily work of keeping things moving.
Leading a growing healthcare organization
You're coordinating multiple teams, clinicians, services, or locations and need better decisions, clearer ownership, and systems that can keep up.
How we work
Assess. Architect. Activate. Operate.
Focused assessments typically take 4–6 weeks and give you findings and priorities. A defined implementation project puts an agreed change into practice; ongoing support keeps campaigns, workflows, and reporting moving. We agree on deliverables, timing, and responsibilities before work begins.
01 · Assess
We review the numbers, talk with the people doing the work, and trace the journey from first inquiry to next step. We look at demand, clinician capacity, and the handoffs between teams. The goal is to separate symptoms from what is limiting progress.
02 · Architect
We turn what we find into a clear plan: what changes first, what depends on something else, who owns each piece, what needs approval, and how we'll know whether it helped.
03 · Activate
We put the plan to work, coordinating the people, systems, and approvals involved. Before handoff, we test the process and make sure the team knows how to use it.
04 · Operate
Ongoing support can include a monthly review of referral and inquiry reporting, updates to agreed CRM follow-up workflows, campaign coordination, and a short list of next actions with named owners. We set the scope and review cadence around what your team needs.
Experience behind the work
Where the experience comes from
Multi-site patient access
Seven years in digital marketing leadership for a multi-site urgent and primary care organization, including patient acquisition and website development oversight.
National clinician growth
Led clinician acquisition and engagement marketing in behavioral health, connecting outreach, email, events, and recruiting priorities.
Physician-practice marketing
Led strategy and marketing execution in an agency engagement for an ENT practice, working across paid search, local SEO, appointment pathways, and analytics.
Whittington Consulting’s published case study reports 296 scheduled appointments from paid search in 2021. Client feedback
“Working with Ashley was one of the best decisions I made for my business this year.”
My path has taken me from multi-site urgent and primary care marketing to national clinician recruitment and independent consulting. I look for the point where a promising plan meets the realities of a busy team. Clear priorities, useful information, and reliable follow-up matter as much as the campaign that brings someone in.
When you ask how to bring in more patients, I want to understand the capacity you have and what happens to the inquiries you already receive. We can then decide whether to focus on acquisition, recruitment, referral follow-up, or the process connecting them.
You'll work directly with me to make sense of the situation and decide where to focus. I lead strategy and stay involved through implementation, bringing in the right team support when a project calls for it.
What are you trying to figure out?
Maybe you're launching a service, trying to fill clinician capacity, or dealing with a process that isn't working the way it should. Tell me what you're trying to accomplish and what seems to be making it difficult. You don't need a defined project or the right terminology. We'll start there.
A short note is plenty: tell me about your organization, what you're working on, and the best way to reach you.
